Cooking Melgotto of Gandino

These cookies were conceived within a gastronomic and cultural promotion plan, conceived by the Pro Loco of Gandino, the municipality-based association for the promotion of local traditions and culture together with the association “I NEGOZI PER GANDINO”, which groups all the shop owners of the town. The bakeries of Gandino were given the task to create a dessert that reflected the peculiarities of the area, and that recalled corn and polenta in its aspect. These delicious cookies were officially presented in 2008, during the local fair that celebrates St. Joseph.

The Centralino Cooking

The Fior di Spinato apple pie

This delicious apple pie made with 100% fior di spinato cornmeal is created from an unusual recipe of apples and cornmeal.
